If you are a follower of my blog, you probably know by now how much I LOVE macro photography. There is something about being able to capture something up close; to get a truly intimate view of something. I’m always enthralled with how I can look at something everyday and not really see it until I bring out my beloved macro lens.
You probably also know how much respect I have for my friend and mentor, Nick Carver. He is someone who not only is incredibly talented and takes mind-blowing pictures… he is also someone who is a phenomenal teacher who teaches his students the right way to shoot. The right way being — get your shot right when you’re shooting and don’t rely on post-processing to make it right. If you’re interested in taking one of his workshops, head over to his website and sign up.I can’t recommend his teaching enough.
When Nick offerred his first Macro Photography class at his new studio, I think I was the first one online signing up.
Here is some of my most recent macro work, which definitely improved after taking Nick’s class.
