My empty nest means that i've been there...through the maternity, newborn, baby, toddler, elementary school, middle school and high school stages. And man, what a ride.
Early on in my motherhood journey, I realized how fast it was all going. Before I knew it, they were sleeping through the night; coming home from their first day of school; slowly becoming the grown up humans they were meant to be. I knew that I wanted to document all of it. But I also wanted to be present for all of it. So I hired a photographer every year. And to this day, I still cherish those images.
I know first-hand how it feels to be left with only the beautiful images I was lucky enough to preserve. That's why I love my job. I get to capture beautiful memories for my clients and turn them into tangible artwork that I know will be cherished when the empty nest arrives.

The Next step is your portrait session
First, book your session with a $300 session fee
This $300 session fee officially reserves your time on my calendar, and it includes your professional hair and makeup appointment, your wardrobe and styling appointment, the session itself, and the editing of your photographs. It does not include any digital photographs. That's the next step! :)
CHOOSE how you'd like to enjoy your gorgeous images!
About two weeks after your session, you'll come back into the studio for your Design & Ordering appointment. Here you will preview your images and design how you'd like to enjoy them. A wall frame? We have you covered! An heirloom album? We've got that too! And digital files are of course an option! They work on a sliding scale (see below).
FInally, Receive your custom artwork and digital images!
We will hand-deliver your artwork and professionally install your frames (for wall gallery orders over a specific amount). And if you've chosen to purchase digital images, those will be sent electronically immediately after your ordering appointment.

Q: How do I book & what's included?
our process is simple!
Your portrait session will be approximately one hour either in-studio or on-location. There's no rushing on this day... your hair, makeup and wardrobe will all be finalized in time for your relaxed session.

Common FAQs
Q: How long have you been a photographer?
A: I started my photography studio back in 2009 and I've been shooting Orange County families ever since!
Fun fact: I have a degree in marketing from Cal State Fullerton and spent 12 years in corporate advertising before having my children. I also own a home based bakery named Chipped OC!
Q: How many SESSIONS have you photographed?
A: In the last 15 years, I've photographed hundreds of families, graduating seniors, expectant mothers and babies.
Q: So, it's a $300 session fee and then I choose artwork later? Is that right?
A: That's exactly right! Your session fee of $300 covers your professional hair and makeup appointment, your wardrobe and styling appointment, your photography session itself, as well as the editing time. And once your images are ready to be viewed, you will then have a chance to come in and preview your images and decide what you'd like to purchase. That way, you get exactly what you want.
Q: can you explain a bit more about the sliding scale?
A: We believe wholeheartedly in the beauty and impact of printed artwork. The sliding scale is a way for our clients to get get the printed artwork they want while making the purchase of their digital files more economical.
Q: what happens if you need to cancel?
In the super unlikely event that I am too ill, injured, or there's some other emergency, I will either find a colleague to fill in or reschedule you to another time that is convenient for you. That said, in the 15+ years I've been doing this full-time, I have never even been 60 seconds late. You're in good hands. I promise.
