Have you guys ever been to the Heritage Museum of Orange County? Did you know that you can get a permit for a photoshoot there? Neither did I until Rebecca’s mom reached out to me with the idea to shoot there.
What a fantastic location! The centerpiece of the museum, which covers nearly 12 acres in all, is a historic plaza featuring several buildings from the 1890s set amid extensive floral gardens and citrus groves. Among the buildings is the Kellogg House familiar to teachers and students throughout Orange County as a favorite field trip destination for over 30 years.
It truly is a gem in the middle of Orange County. If you haven’t been there I highly recommend a visit.
I had such a great time with Rebecca… I’ve known her since she was a little kid. She is the perfect mix between being super smart and super irreverent which makes for such a fun personality! We had a blast, especially since she is such a natural in front of the camera.
Rebecca is off the the University of Washington (go Huskies!). Have a great adventure, Becca!

Senior portraits are more than just photographs; they’re a representation of a significant milestone in a student’s life. As an Orange County senior photographer, my goal is to capture the essence of each senior while ensuring their portraits are nothing short of stunning. One of the crucial steps in achieving this is post-production editing. In this blog post, we’ll explore the art of editing senior portraits and how it transforms them into works of art.
Post-production editing is the fine-tuning process that can take an already beautiful senior portrait to the next level. Here’s why editing is essential:
Editing senior portraits is both a technical and artistic process. It requires a keen eye for detail, an understanding of the senior’s unique personality, and mastery of editing tools. Here are some aspects of the art of editing:
Editing senior portraits is a collaborative process. It’s essential to involve the senior in the editing process, ensuring their vision and preferences are considered. Communication and feedback play a crucial role in achieving a final product that both the senior and the photographer are proud of.
Editing is the final touch that transforms senior portraits into works of art that seniors and their families will cherish for a lifetime. As an Orange County senior photographer, I’m committed to delivering senior portraits that are not only beautiful but also authentically represent each senior’s unique personality.
