Mini sessions have never been a part of my business plan. No reason in particular other than I’ve always loved spending a significant amount of time with each client It can sometimes take time for people to warm up and I love the images that transpire when people get comfortable with me and their surroundings!

Mini sessions must have exploded last year because it was literally all I saw on instagram in the fall/holiday season. Color me intrigued (and apparently super late to the party lol).

So I picked one weekend in the early fall last year where I wasn’t already booked and I dove in. It was actually super fun! Did I miss getting to spend really quality time with my clients? Absolutely. Will I do them again? Honestly not sure. I guess I’ll have to see if I’m feeling it this fall!

One of my favorite clients from the mini sessions was the Nugent Family. Holy smokes were they a fun, fun family to shoot! Not only were the kids amazing, but the parents, Jay & April were awesome. They’re such a close-knit family and it shows.
