The Potters are actually part of our family that I am blessed enough to photograph every year. Sheila is my husband’s cousin. And while our kids are not 1st cousins, you could never tell them that. To my girls, Alyssa and Natalie are favorites and they have a blast together.
These shoots are always a family affair, with my husband and kids in tow – it’s a great chance for us all to catch up and grab dinner together. And since they live in LA, we don’t get to see them as much as we’d like to.
This year, Sheila wanted to shoot at Malaga Cove in Palos Verdes. Unfortunately we ended up mostly shooting everywhere around there BUT Malaga due to being off with our lighting as well as a very uncooperative shop keeper who wouldn’t close up on time for us to get the shot we wanted. That said, I really love how the shoot turned out.
