This was my last official family shoot of 2010, and it was so darn fun!

First of all, this family is BEAUTIFUL. And second of all, Taylor is one of the cutest babies I’ve ever seen! And not only is she beautiful, but I LOVED her personality! She was slow to warm up at the beginning and looked at me like she didn’t trust me. But then we started talking about ducks, I showed her a few of the pictures I took of her, and I, of course, told her how pretty she is and we soon became friends.

Now most people would think that photographers LOVE kids that follow the rules – they go where you want, they smile when you’re shooting, they focus on only you. But, as challenging as it can be to take pictures of a child who wants to do her own thing, it also leads to amazing pictures! And Taylor is a girl that knows EXACTLY what she wants. And at 18 months, that is so awesome! She definitely kept me on my toes, and I loved every minute of it!

And when I came home from the shoot, I kept showing my husband pictures of Taylor saying, “Isn’t she adorable?”, and “Don’t you want to have another baby?” 🙂  I think it’s safe to say that he is going to be a little nervous the next time I take pictures of little cuties like her!
