The only upside to all of the crazy overdevelopment in Orange County is that the Irvine Company sets aside a certain amount of open space for each development it creates. While these open spaces aren’t usually that large, what they’ve done with some of these spaces is really cool. With a few of these spaces I’m actually surprised at the amount of thought and effort that went into them. As a photographer I’m always excited when something pops up with any kind of interesting backdrop that stands out to the cookie-cutter buildings we tend to have around here. This park in Irvine didn’t disappoint. I’m hoping this is just the start of some unique open spaces to come.
And to make things even better, the Schaffer Family inadvertently coordinated their outfits PERFECTLY to this park! I mean seriously – I think this is the best coordinating I’ve seen so far!
This family is awesome – fun, laid back and they make my job super easy. Both kids are wicked smart, kind and REALLY funny. I was lucky enough to have just taken Elizabeth’s senior session a few weeks ago and now I got to do the whole family!
Thanks Schaffer Family! xoxo
