I always look forward to this shoot each year… in fact, my whole family looks forward to this shoot as it’s usually a family affair! (see last pick below). The Swansons are such great friends and Shane and Kylie are like my 3rd and 4th children.

The best thing about my shoots with them is that our shoots end up usually being like a big hang-out session… everyone is relaxed and at ease which is why I end up getting such fun shots of them.  It also helps that they are all so damn beautiful! I’m not sure there’s a more photogenic family out there!

Since the Swansons moved this past year, Nicki wanted to do a really fun shot to include on their change of address cards. And it was all her idea. This pool was NOT heated, and yes… they jumped in fully dressed! Isn’t this just crazy awesome!!!?

The rest of our shoot was done down in San Juan Capistrano at the Train Depot and Los Rios District. This location has such beautiful backdrops and colors… it really ended up being the perfect backdrop for them.
