I love shooting extended families — it’s such a joy seeing several generations together. You can always get a sense for a family’s vibe and culture when you spend some time with them shooting. You get to notice the nuances that make families so unique. It’s one of the coolest thing about my job!

The McCain-Gillman extended family was so much fun. From Jonee and Mike all the way down to the grandchildren, Jake, Alex and Luke – this family is filled with so much love and and so much fun.

Sometimes families, especially larger groups, get a little too calm in front of the camera. That was definitely not the case with these guys. They’re a group of people who don’t take themselves too seriously which is my favorite kind of family! (Don’t take my word for it… scroll to the very last photo! :-))
