I’ve often complained on here about the difficulties of finding spaces in Orange County to do photo sessions. Everything is either too crowded, restricted, or charges a fortune for a permit. I have fantasies of buying a piece of secluded, wooded property somewhere where I can shoot clients to my heart’s content.
Well for this shoot I hit the jackpot! Molly and her family live on an incredible horse property in Orange County. It’s truly a photographer’s dream location. Not only that, it is filled with all kinds of animals that I got to play with! Every spot I shot in had magnificent light and a fantastic backdrop. I loved every minute of it.
And to top it off, I got to hang with Molly who is sweet, wicked-smart, funny and fierce (even though she told me she doesn’t think she is). 🙂 She’s a fantastic student, remarkable athlete and a complete joy to get to know. I also shot her brother, Matt, for his senior photos four years ago… these Allen kids are truly an amazing lot. I look forward to seeing where they go and what they do! They are most definitely headed for greatness!
