Okay… I just LOVE a family that climbs trees… seriously! I showed the Crails the tree that I wanted some pictures taken by, and as expected, Alexander and Andrew immediately scaled the tree and started climbing all over the place. But what was SO awesome was that Stephanie and Scott did too! I LOVE that! I’m all about families that will have fun at a shoot and get dirty, even when they are dressed-up.

I had such a great time on this shoot… we had to reschedule a couple of times and I was starting to worry that it would never happen. We almost had to reschedule this one due to some really high winds, but miraculously the wind was calm when it was time for pictures.

Another reason why I was so excited for this shoot was that Stephanie has been so supportive of me and my photography… and her enthusiasm about having their family photos taken was contagious! She was so excited about having the photos taken… she consulted with me on outfits (which is always a good idea), got her makeup done (another great idea), and was open to pretty much anything I suggested (the best idea ever!). 🙂
