Our most recent photo shoot was an extended family shoot at the holidays. We had a large group with lots of specific shots we wanted to capture during our session.
Jen scouted the location before hand, finding us the most beautiful setting. She is very professional and kept the session flowing within our allotted time slot. She is also warm and friendly, which helped everyone relax for the pictures.
Jen took a mixture of posed and candid shots. I enjoy that not every photo is posed. The candid photos really show personality.
Did I mention how fun she is! We literally laughed our whole session. By the end of our shoot my cheeks hurt from laughing so much.

Photography studio near Orange, CA
Award-winning and recognized as the 2025 Best Photographer of Tustin by the Tustin Chamber of Commerce, Jennifer Imus has spent over 15 years creating portraits that families across Orange County come back for year after year. Her bright, airy studio is located in the heart of Old Town Tustin, centrally located in Orange County near where the 5 Freeway meets the 55 Freeway. Thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a beautiful session — from newborn wraps, headbands, and props to florals and accessories curated over the years. Proudly serving families in Orange, Tustin, Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, and throughout Orange County.
There's something about the City of Orange that I never get tired of. The tree-lined streets, the preserved architecture, the warm brick buildings. It feels like a completely different part of Orange County. My kids spent their teen years wandering the shops in Old Towne Orange Historic District and meeting friends at the Orange Circle. I still love the vintage stores and the small businesses that have been here for decades.
Orange is more inland than most of the cities I work in, so it's warmer and drier, especially in the summer. But that works in our favor because the afternoons are consistently sunny and the light in Old Towne in the late afternoon is some of the best I've seen. It comes through the storefronts and hits the brick in a way that just looks good.
Santiago Oaks Regional Park is one of my favorite outdoor spots in this area. It has wide trails, big trees, and in the spring the wildflowers are everywhere. Irvine Regional Park is close by too and is great for families. I also love the grounds around Chapman University for the architecture and how walkable everything is right there.
The food in Orange is really good. Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen is a longtime family favorite for us. The Filling Station Cafe does an amazing brunch. And PUBlic Legacy is fun for craft cocktails and a nice dinner. Everything is within walking distance of the Circle, which makes it easy to spend a whole afternoon or evening here.
Orange is easy to get to from the 55, the 22, the 57, or the 261. I have families coming from Tustin, Anaheim, Villa Park, and all over north Orange County.
