What makes a milestone session different from a typical photo session?
The earlier, the better. Many families choose to reserve their baby’s first year through my First Year Collective, which ensures priority access to my calendar and a cohesive story from maternity through the first birthday.
Most clients book during pregnancy or shortly after their newborn session so nothing is missed.
The most commonly documented milestones are:
• Newborn (within the first 2–3 weeks)
• 6–8 months (sitting, personality starting to shine)
• First birthday (often with a cake smash or simple portrait session)
Some families also choose to include a 3–4 month session or a 9-month milestone. Every baby develops a little differently, so I guide you on timing to capture each stage beautifully.
Most milestone sessions take place in my Old Town Tustin studio, where I have full control over light, styling, and environment to create clean, timeless imagery. The studio is especially ideal for younger babies and first birthday sessions.
For milestones like 6–8 months — when babies are sitting and more interactive — outdoor sessions can be a beautiful option as well. If you’re drawn to a more natural setting, I’m happy to guide you in choosing a location that still aligns with the refined, timeless feel of my work.

When choosing our Signature Session, you'll never stress about what to wear. I’ve got you. Choose from 75+ beautiful dresses in whites, creams, pastels, blues, and greens. We also have a full closet of outfits for your little one! Pick ahead of time or decide on the day — whatever works for you!
Professional hair and makeup is included in every Signature Session. I schedule the artist for you, no coordination needed. While you're getting glam, I'm working with your baby on solo shots. By the time you're ready, it's time for the good stuff!
This is where you just show up, relax, and let me take care of everything - including wardrobe for your baby, accessories and a cake for those first birthday celebrations!
The planning is done — all that's left is to enjoy it!
You'll come back to the studio to see your fully retouched images for the first time — set to music, on the big screen. From there, we'll choose your favorites and design your wall art, albums, or digital gallery together with our specialized design software.
