Prenatal Massage in Orange County: A Current Guide for Expecting Moms

Prenatal Massage in Orange County

(Prenatal Massage in Orange County updated September 2026). Pregnancy asks a lot of your body. I spend a lot of time with expecting moms in my studio, and I know how quickly the calendar can fill with appointments, decisions and all the preparation that comes before a baby arrives. Sometimes you simply want one quiet hour where someone else takes care of you.

Prenatal massage can be an incredible way to decompress, ease some of your aches and pains, and to prepare yourself for labor and delivery. While I’m not a healthcare provider, I think it’s important that local pregnant moms-to-be have access to resources that can give them the best possible pregnancy outcomes.

Before You Book a Prenatal Massage in Orange County

Your own obstetrician, midwife or other pregnancy-care provider is the right person to answer questions about your health and whether massage is appropriate for you. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists says massage can be a way to relax during pregnancy and notes that side-lying is preferable to lying face down. That general information does not replace guidance for your individual pregnancy.

When you call, tell the provider how far along you are and ask who will perform your massage, what prenatal training that person has, how you will be positioned and whether the practice has any trimester or physician-note requirements. You can also use the California Massage Therapy Council certification search to check an individual massage professional. CAMTC certification is voluntary statewide, and some cities have their own requirements, so ask the provider directly about the credentials and permits that apply to the person treating you.

Prenatal Massage Providers in Orange County

Beach Baby Prenatal Massage and Skin  Huntington Beach

Beach Baby Prenatal Massage and Skin focuses specifically on prenatal and postpartum massage and skincare. Its current website identifies owner Sarah Garcia as a massage therapist, esthetician and certified birth doula. The studio is located at 16152 Beach Boulevard, Suite 270, in Huntington Beach. Because this practice is centered on pregnancy and postpartum care, it may be a useful place to start if you want to ask detailed questions before booking.

Massage Matters Clinic  Irvine

Massage Matters Clinic currently offers prenatal massage at 16525 Von Karman Avenue, Suite E, in Irvine. The clinic says its prenatal service is available during the second and third trimesters and that the massage is adjusted to the client’s stage of pregnancy and comfort. Confirm the current policy and the training of the therapist assigned to you when scheduling.

BodyCentre Day Spa  Costa Mesa

BodyCentre Day Spa lists prenatal massage at its Costa Mesa location, 801 Baker Street, Suite E. Its current service page says clients must be past the first trimester and describes side-lying support during the appointment. Ask the spa to confirm its current prenatal policy, therapist qualifications and availability before purchasing or booking.

StressBusters  Laguna Hills

StressBusters has a pregnancy-massage program at 25431 Cabot Road, Suite 202A, in Laguna Hills. The business says its pregnancy massages are performed in side-lying and semi-reclining positions by therapists with prenatal training. Its website also describes additional pregnancy and postpartum services. Those services are separate from medical care, so discuss anything health-related with your clinician and confirm the exact service you want directly with StressBusters.

OC Face and Body Studio  Orange

OC Face and Body Studio currently includes prenatal massage on its official massage menu. The studio is located at 2050 West Chapman Avenue, Suite 162, in Orange and operates by appointment. Its website refers generally to trained massage professionals, but it does not identify the therapist who would handle a particular appointment. Ask who will provide your massage and confirm that person’s prenatal training and current certification before you book.

Casa Laguna Hotel and Spa  Laguna Beach

Casa Laguna Hotel and Spa lists prenatal massage on its current 2026 spa menu. The hotel is located at 2510 South Coast Highway in Laguna Beach. Its published spa policy requires a doctor’s note before the service, so this is one to plan in advance. Contact the hotel directly to confirm appointment availability and whether the spa is accepting non-hotel guests on your preferred date.

A Few Questions Worth Asking

  • Do you currently offer prenatal massage for my stage of pregnancy?
  • Who will perform the massage, and what prenatal-specific training does that person have?
  • How will I be positioned and supported during the appointment?
  • Do you require clearance or a note from my healthcare provider?
  • Are there any services, add-ons or products you avoid during pregnancy?
  • What is your cancellation policy if I need to change the appointment?

If movement sounds better than massage right now, I also keep a separate guide to prenatal yoga in Orange County. Class schedules change often, so the same rule applies: check the provider’s current information before making plans.

One Less Thing to Plan During Pregnancy

Pregnancy already comes with enough appointments and decisions. My maternity portrait experience is designed so your session does not become another project you have to manage. For all of my portrait sessions, I take care of the planning, arrange professional hair and makeup, and provide a curated wardrobe in my Old Town Tustin studio. If maternity portraits are on your list, you can learn more about my Orange County maternity photography experience.

If you’re ready to chat about a maternity session, feel free to reach out! We can discuss all your options, what I provide and whether my full-service experience is a good fit for your needs.

However you decide to care for yourself during pregnancy, ask the questions that matter to you and choose providers who make you feel heard. This list is a starting point, and the provider’s official website and your own healthcare team should always be the final sources for current service and safety information.
